Fee Schedule
- $125 / hour for any payment method other than cash (card, check, transfer, etc.).
- $100 / hour when paid by cash.
- Each surveillance session has a 4-hour minimum.
Reasonable case expenses (mileage, records, tolls, etc.) may apply and will be discussed. A retainer may be requested before work begins.
Payment Terms: Unless paid in advance, invoices are due within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. Invoices are typically issued at the conclusion of the assignment. If the balance is not paid within thirty (30) days, a late fee of 1.5% of the outstanding balance will be added, and Client will have an additional thirty (30) days to pay. If the balance remains unpaid at the end of that period, an additional 1.5% late fee will be added to the full outstanding balance, including previously assessed late fees, and this will repeat at the end of the following thirty (30) day period, for a maximum of three (3) late fees. Any balance remaining unpaid one hundred twenty (120) days after the invoice date will be referred for legal action without further notice.
Collection Costs: If Blueline Investigative Services must take action to collect an unpaid balance, Client agrees to pay, in addition to the amount owed and all late fees, all costs of collection, including reasonable attorney's fees, court costs, and filing and service fees, whether or not a lawsuit is filed.
Authorization & Consent
I am retaining Blueline Investigative Services (DCJS #11-9802) to perform lawful investigative services regarding the matter I described above. I authorize Blueline to conduct this work on my behalf.
I certify that the information I have provided is true to the best of my knowledge, that I have a lawful and legitimate purpose for requesting these services, and that I am not requesting them to harass, stalk, or harm any person or for any unlawful purpose.
I understand the fee schedule and payment terms above, that results cannot be guaranteed, and that fees are earned for work performed regardless of outcome. All information exchanged is treated as confidential.
Records Retention: All case records, including this signed agreement, are securely retained for six (6) months following the completion of services. All deliverables are provided to you at the close of your case; if you need a replacement copy or any additional records, please request them within that six-month period, after which records may no longer be available.
Court Testimony: If this case requires court testimony at any time in the future, a fee of $500.00 per investigator applies. This fee is non-refundable once a court appearance has been scheduled, regardless of whether the appearance ultimately takes place, is cancelled, or is continued.
